A Photo Essay of My Time on the Island of Moturiki, Fiji
Living on the beautiful islands of Moturiki and Caqalai in Fiji was an unforgettable experience. During my time there, I worked with various NGOs, immersing myself in island life and living off the grid. It was a truly unique way of life, where each day was about connecting with nature, the community, and the simple joys of living.
My role involved working closely with the local school, helping the teachers and students while supporting various community initiatives in the villages. Together, we achieved many goals, from improving the school’s facilities to carrying out important development work that benefited the community as a whole.
Living on these islands gave me a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and the resilience of the people who call this place home. It was a time filled with unforgettable moments, shared laughter, and the genuine kindness of the people I met. The experience not only shaped my perspective on the world but also gave me a true taste of the island way of life, where every day was a new adventure.
